A Hair weave is where additional hair is attached securely and blended discreetly with your own hair to create a natural finish.
We offer the following types of hair for use with your extensions.
Human Hair – This hair comes in a range of colours and textures that provide a good match for relaxed afro hair and mixed hair.
Remy Hair - This hair comes in a range of colours and textures that provide a good match for relaxed afro hair and mixed hair. The hair maintains its cuticle and so therefore lasts longer and tangles less than regular processed hair.
Virgin Indian Hair – As virgin hair is not chemically altered the colours are natural and range between colour 1, 1b and 2. The hair comes in a natural wavy texture that can be straightened if desired. This hair can provide a good match for relaxed afro, mixed and straight hair but a consultation is advised to check compatibility. This hair can be reused.
Virgin Brazilian Hair – As virgin hair is not chemically altered the colours are natural and range between colour 1, 1b and 2. The hair comes naturally wavy, straight or curly and it can be straightened if desired. This hair can provide a good match for relaxed afro, mixed and straight hair but a consultation is advised to check compatibility. This hair can be reused.

OPEN WEAVE
This extension method requires you to leave some of your own hair out in the hairline and parting. The extension hair will be blended with your own hair in the parting and hairline. The above picture shows the results of an open weave.
Your hair will be braided and the extension hair will be added by stitching, this method is good for customers who have full hairlines and want to extend their own hair.
To achieve the most natural and discreet result its essential to use a hair that is similar to your own, so for example don’t use Silky Straight hair if you have Relaxed Afro Hair. Some clients find that by adding subtle tones and highlights they can add depth and enhance the finished look.
We offer these weaves with our own hair OR you can provide your own hair. Please note that if you are providing your own hair you will need to match your hair colour and texture as closely as possible to get the best result.

BLENDED WEAVE
This extension technique requires that you have relaxed hair. The majority of your hair will be left out and blended with the extension hair. The above picture simulates the results of a blended weave.

The result is a flat and smooth natural looking weave.
To achieve the most natural and discreet result its essential to use a hair that is similar to your own, so for example don’t use Silky Straight hair if you have Relaxed Afro Hair. Some clients find that by adding subtle tones and highlights they can add depth and enhance the finished look.

LACE FRONTAL WITH WEAVE
 
A Lace frontal is the front part of a full lace wig and is great for women with thinning at the hairline who prefer to wear weaves instead of full units. Our lace frontals are made to the highest standard, with a contoured hairline, super small scattered knots, bleached knots and baby hairs.
None of your hair will be left out with this method. The frontal will be applied just in front of the hairline and the back of it will be attached to the first row of your weave.
You can use any text and colour of hair with a Frontal and weave because it doesn’t have to match with your own hair as it won’t be visible. So be as bold or as conservative as you like!
We offer Lace Frontal and Weave applications to clients who purchase the hair from us or elsewhere.

CUSTOM CLIP-IN HAIR EXTENSIONS

This extension method is suited to all hair types. They are simple and easy to use and you can apply them yourself at home!
The extension hair is blended with your own hair and simply clipped in. The majority of your hair will be left out so the extensions will not only add length they will also add body and volume to your hair.
To achieve the most natural and discreet result its essential to use a hair that is similar to your own, so for example don’t use Silky Straight hair if you have Relaxed Afro Hair. As a general rule Classic Afro Relaxed will work on relaxed and afro and some mixed hair, Silky Straight will work well for straight and some mixed hair.
These clip-ins will be custom made for you and will aim to match your heir type and texture, so it’s best to have a consultation first to discuss your requirements.
