Some grades of hair will last longer than others and a lower grade of hair will begin to degrade after a few washes. One of the lowest grades of hair on the market today is Indian human hair (normal non-remy hair). This hair is the type of hair you will find in your local hair supplier, it’s the type of hair that looks good initially but with time the hair gets dry, matted and dull.

The hair collected to form the Human Hair so prevalent on the market today is generally known as fallen hair. The hair has been stripped of its cuticle and coated with silicon products to mimic the cuticle. After time the silicon coating begins to wear off and the real hair is exposed. The hair is dry, matted, and dull. The hair is inexpensive and because of this is the largest selling hair in the world, but not of the best quality. The sad truth is many full lace wigs on the market today are made with this kind of hair as it is cheap and readily available. Sadder still many retailers sell this hair as genuine Remy Hair, as many consumers cannot tell the different at first sight or even by touching.

REMY CUTICLE HAIR

Indian Remy Cuticle hair is one of the highest grades available in the market today. The hair is Indian Human Hair that maintains its cuticle. The hair cuticles need to flow in the same direction to avoid tangling and this hair is collected and handled in a way to maintain the cuticle direction and thus avoids tangling.

This hair will be gently hand processed for colour and/or texture. The processing is sensitive to the hair and doesn’t strip or damage the cuticle. Traditional methods of mass processing damage the cuticle and cause it to be stripped, the hair on our custom units maintains its cuticle and produces for you a long lasting tangle free unit.

We also supply units with Virgin Cuticle Hair. We provide these units with 100% Virgin Indian or 100% Virgin Brazilian hair.

Virgin Cuticle Hair is completely unprocessed and is in its purest state. The hair is 100% natural and the cuticle has never been disturbed as the hair has never been processed for texture and/or colour. Virgin Indian hair comes in dark brown and Virgin Brazilian hair comes in Dark brown to Light Brown. The hair is beautiful!
